Dear Friends,

After many wonderful years, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Maruki Tei at the end of October as we begin our retirement.

Our story goes back to 1958, when my mom, Edith Oshima, opened the first version of this restaurant. Over the decades, Maruki Tei grew and eventually found its home at Windward Mall, where so many of you have become like family, sharing meals and everyday moments with us.

We are deeply grateful for your support, friendship, and loyalty through the years. It has meant more to our family than we can say.

We’d love to see you one more time before we close. Come by, enjoy an old favorite, and help us celebrate the many memories we’ve made together.
